In my 20s, I thought success meant going to elite schools and working at prestigious sounding jobs with demanding hours. They told me to ‘try to look older.’ In an interview, someone asked if I was the type to go to the gym every day. I lied and said no. I was checking emails at 3 a.m., eating every meal at my desk, and barely seeing the sun.
At some point I realized I can create any life I want to. Now, health and wellness aren’t just a hobby—they’re my whole life. My health isn’t a luxury; it’s my greatest asset. It’s the foundation of life, and it’s important to invest in it.
Taking control of your health starts with listening to your body. Feeling empowered can start with small steps that lead to big changes over time. Rest, hydrate, move, eat well, laugh... and repeat daily. When you listen and pay attention, you know when to reset and recalibrate.
Your health is your greatest investment. When we prioritize taking care of ourselves, we inspire others to do the same.
